is the quick deployability of army airborne enough to cover the tasks in which a MEU(SOC) is needed? military knowledgable people answer only and please keep an open mind

Again with the OPSEC, but both have their pros & cons. As simple as I can make it, they have similiar roles in different warfighting strategies. When each strategy is appropriate for the time & place it will be used. Neither needs to be eliminated from the arsenal if that's what you mean.

The MEU is very necassary the airborne units can not bring the heavy equipment to the fight like the MEU can

MEUs are good tactically.

Airborne units are good tactically.

OPSEC aside, they are both good. Now go away.
