a loooong time. fighting ignorance run rampant among the masses is an uphill battle.
Is it even worth trying to convince someone who would think something so bizarre and ridiculous as the earth is only 6000 years old? --and we were being chased by dinosaurs, all of whom --even those "prehistoric creatures" who swam and flew-- perished in one flood which only lasted a few months??? That is just the tip of the iceberg in foolish stories they REALLY believe. How do you even reason with that?

Its PART of a valid argument for the existence of God. Consider also the fact that during the cruisades people were killed for having a copy of the Bible. The fact that the Bible is made up of 66 books written by some 40 writers over a period of 16 centuries and yet its harmonious from beginning to end. It explains the meaning of world conditions and the purpose of life. Its filled with prophecies reflecting detailed knowledge about the future - on of my favorites is at Isaiah 44:24-28; 45:1-4 regarding Cyrus. He is mentioned by name and he wasn't born for about another 150 years after the prophecy was written.
There are quite a few valid arguments for the existence of God that have to do with the Bible.

It is true that that arguement is incomplete and cannot stand on its own.
But let us see about when we add a few more details, shall we?
"The Bible is the most unique book that has ever been written." It took over 1500 years to write the Bible. It is written by over 40 authors covering 40 generations. It was written on three separate continents, and has three separate languages: Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic. Furthermore, it speaks on hundreds of controversial topics with unity. Now, let us think about this. Over 40 different people from all walks of life: peasants, prophets, kings, shepherds, fisherman, doctors. They are writing different styles of literature: poetry, history, law, letters, biographies. Totally different types of literature. When you put it all together, on those hundreds of controversial topics, the Bible speaks in unity. How in the world could you ever do that? How could you concoct that? You can’t, but God can!

Old myths die hard, no one wants to admit that they might be wrong. All you can do is continue to speak the voice of common sense, the common sense and open minded investigation that proved that the world was not flat, the same voice we listen to in every aspect of life except religion, where ancient superstitions still rule uncompromising minds and hearts. Hopefully someday, new generations will understand that religion is nothing but mythology and the only thing we can know for sure is what we can sense with our mind and our senses.
But of those who have decided that they already "know" all there is to know and all they want to know about God , very few will actually change.

The logical arguments are created via philosophers quite often and youll locate little or no of them on R&S. One such thought is from the poet and mystic Sufi. For his suggestions and ideals all revolved around the unity of each thing. the seen Oneness. an entire. the would desire to locate objective and objective in life, those are all with regards to one yet another. We sense greater effective as quickly as we are one, centred, based in our very own life, and yet we sense the would desire to circulate beyond our life to some thing plenty plenty better and that encompasses each thing of mankind. all of us yearn for a definite feeling of unity, we try to get human beings to accept as true with us, to be aside of our 'prolonged family participants' and in the comparable time we would desire to maintain our individuality. What does any of this have something to do with a paranormal guy in the sky? It does not. Oneness is an incredible theory. one that isn't have the ability to be categorised, put in a field or experienced in any variety. ***

You obviously don't have a clue what the argument means. Obviously it is just one of many proofs about the existence of God. You don't seem to understand that the Bible is God's Word. Think about THAT! I suggest you educate yourself about God, the Bible, Christianity by enrolling in a good Bible study, then you won't feel the need to post such questions.

Well good thing the Bible teaches about the circle of the earth. Anyway, other, quite logical and valid arguments for God's existence have been proposed, but most people ignore me. I have found they don't love truth nearly as much as they love themselves.

All that hard work, killing innocent people, burning any contradictory writings, and wiping out (or converting) entire civilizations all over the world, doesn't that give them the right to make us swear in court on their "GOOD" book?
It's been around soooo long because they destroyed all the true ancient writings that proceeded it!
And most aren't even truely aware that their current version is only 700 years old. The Church removed the rest of the stories (sensored it) to fit their own agenda!
Those dinasour bones have been around alot longer than their God, or "He" would have told them about T-Rex!
Fairy Tales...symbolic metaphors....
Blessed Be.......

the simple answer is, it doesn't.
BUT, the fact that it HAS been around for a long time shows that, at least, itt has valid proof of prior existence - if someone wrote it today, people would say "It can't be true - 'they' just made it up now."
also, since it so aptly describes so many of today's facts, even though it was written thousands of years ago proves that there was philosophical input (from the creator).
