You're right, I have actually seen questions directed to Christians that say " Are all Christians cannibals because they believe in drinking blood and eating flesh"...they only do it out of pure ignorance and spite.

I'm not exactly religious (aka, I'm an atheist), but I think that everyone has a right to their own opinion on everything. That includes whether or not the wine and bread is cannibalism. But, personally, I think that it's not cannibalism. I honestly do hope that I haven't offended anyone (and no, I'm not being sarcastic).

Dionysus is a Wine-god. I used to work on building a relationship with Him. Try to have a sense of humor about jerks, they too take themselves too seriously.

all religions should be able to coexist in peace as long as they dint harm or interrupt the well fare of others but today people are so determined to be right and make others believe they have the right religion that they put down other gods and beliefs to make them self and others respect their god and their beliefs. just so everyone knows i have no religion but if i had to pick one it would be Buddhism because it respects all religions dedicated to care and understanding

JESUS DID COMMAND ALL OF HIS PEOPLE TO KEEP THE PASSOVER AND DAYS OF UNLEAVEN BREAD. NOT LIKE THE CATHOLICS THOUGH. FOR HIS PEOPLE ARE TO KEEP IT ONCE A YEAR.
Mt 26:26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
Mt 26:27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
Mt 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
JESUS ALSO ADDED THE WASHING OF EACH OTHERS FEET IN THE PASSOVER.
Joh 13:4 He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself.
Joh 13:5 After that he poureth water into a basin, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.
Joh 13:6 Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?
Joh 13:7 Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.
Joh 13:8 Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.
Joh 13:9 Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.
Joh 13:10 Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit:
AND DID GIVE US AN EXAMPLE
Joh 13:12 So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you?
Joh 13:13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
Joh 13:14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.
Joh 13:15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
SO IF YOU WANT TO BE IN THE FIRST RESURRECTION THEN BY ALL MEANS KEEP THE PASSOVER AND HE WILL RAISE YOU OUT OF YOUR GRAVE WHEN HE RETURNS TO THIS EARTH.
Joh 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
Joh 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

Catholic church says its his flesh and blood. That's probably what they are referring to. The Protestants say its symbolic.

i grew up catholic and was always told, that while it is not truly the blood and flesh we put in our mouth, it is truly the blood and flesh that we consume. sounds cannibalistic to me.
