Why do alot of people think that mexican food is gross? Especially white people?

Yeah, I'm white too. I eat Mexican food quite often and also cook it here at home. Chile Rellenos is my absolute favorite. Although I do appreciate Chili Colorado also. Mexican Restaurants or fast food. It's all good.

Who are the people you're talking about? Surely you are not in California or anywhere in the West. Just about everybody here loves Mexican food.

What Mexican food do white people say is gross? Pancita (stomach)? Tripa (Intestines)? Pata (Foot pads of cattle and swine)? Taco de seso(brain taco)? Sorry I can't go on I am getting so hungry. I live in Mexico and was in China recently with many Mexican co-workers. Many of them were really grossed out by genuine Chinese food. I couldn't tell much difference except that Szechuan and Hunan cooking are very spicy hot; so hot the Mexicans complained.
I am white and don't think Mexican food is gross, my wife is white also and eats everything, but she is Mexican.

Where do you live?

I am in Los Angeles and white people frequent the good Mexican restaurants as much as the Mexicans do. I should know, I see them at my favorite places.

The only people I come across who don't like Mexican food are vegetarians, but that doesn't say much.

Im white and I love it along with other spicy foods.
I don't think that it just has to do with white people. I know many American Mexican people who can't stand anything but ketchup on their taco! Yuck!

i would think the reason is, white people aren't use to it and the different spices used it it. Many ppl hate the "white ppl's food" cause we use lots of salt, sugar, fat, grease, etc. that's the food we are use to. Unlike mexican food. the get use of beans, spices, peppers, etc. it's not nasty or gross. just different than what we are use to.
