use a "hair strengthening" shampoo! all hair breaks and falls out, this doesn't mean it's not healthy. you notice it more with thicker hair...u just have more hair!

How long is it? When was your last haircut? It could just be that some of it is getting weak and damaged from being around so long.

When it's wet do you start combing from the scalp? I was taught to begin at the bottom, never force a comb through a snarl. If you're getting lots of snarls it's time for a cut.

People shed hair like dogs do too. So you might just be losing a bit more than usual. But if it's a lot, I'd see a doctor.

Hope that helps.

If you aren't getting a haircut/trim every month your hair will just get to a certain point and break off.
If you are using Suave, VO5, Pantene, or other cheap shampoos, it can cause dandruff and/or breakage.
If you have fine or fragile hair.
If you wash your hair everyday instead of everyother day.
Hair does fall out and grow again, if that's the case don't be alarmed.
Go to a salon professional and ask them if this doesn't help you.
Good luck!

How do you know it is breakage? It may be new hair that hasn't grown out all the way yet.Hair goes through a cycle. So it is not always adult hair.If not, it may be from clips or bands that you are using to hold your hair back. Those are the only things I can think of.

Try JASONS organic shampoos & conditioners, they don't contain chemicals like sodium lauryl sulfate, please read about this chemical! It could be the bending that it creates, & your hair is reacting to it! I hope this helps you & answers your question, dear!
