No, a period is when a woman starts ovulating or rather, sending an egg down her folicles alternating the left side or the right. If there is no sperm to fertilize the egg, then the woman begins bleeding. That's menstruation. A girl who has not begun menstruation means there is no possibility for the egg to be fertilized so she cannot become pregnant.

Yes she can. The start of your period is not an indicator that you've just become fertile. It's an indicator that you became fertile about 15 days ago.

no. you only get preggers when you ovulate and the egg is exposed to an entering sperm. You never ovulate before you get your period, so you cant have a baby.

I don't think so. At least that's my understanding. However, if I think about it, you'd first have to ovulate to have a period, and that's when you get pregnant, so maybe but very unlikely.
