For me when I am told "You are.........." and not "I am..........".

You will know...it will always be the voice telling you the right thing to do. It will be the voice telling you the truth. It will be the voice telling you what you need to hear exactly when you need to hear it.

When you start to pray and ask for help and then as you go thru options it becomes clear what you must do. There is no specific voice. There is an awareness, a spiritual awareness.

I know it's HIM because he always comes in love. Even when I'm quilty of something he speaks without condemming me. He just speaks the truth in love. When you understand something that you have made very complex, in just a word or just a single thought for sure you heard God. When the complex is reduced to short sweet and logical...That's HIM. And you will say something like...That is so obvious, why didn't I see that.

it will be that "still small voice" and it wouldn't ever go against the bible. so if you hear voices telling you to kill your family, that's not God.

it's hard to distinguish at first.best way is to get familiar with Him. what do u do to know more about a person in a level that you can almost read each other's thoughts? relationship is the beginning.
