Karma is the belief that the actions in this life determine your fate in the next. It's primarily in Hinduism and Buddhism although there's mixtures of faiths that have it too. Basically, if you do good in this life you will have a higher standing in the next. So a poor man who is also a good man will come back richer. Conversely, a rich man who is a jerk will come back as a poor man. If he is really bad he may end up a mossy covering on a rock.

Karma is a reaction caused by an action. Let's say your mom had a plate of cookies on the counter and told you not to eat them - you snuck and ate them anyway. Fifteen minutes later you get terrible diarhea, that would be a good example of Karma in action. It's not always that blatant, sometimes it subtle. It's the rule that whatever you put out into the world will come back to you.

I don't know exactly. I've heard what other's here have written. That it's a "what goes around comes around" kinda thing. If that's what it is, then I'm sure it's a complete joke. There is no guarantee of that. There are rich scumbuckets in america that can buy their way out of anything, and the law protects them from the people that want justice.
so what is karma.... a joke.

karma is what goes around comes around. For example, if you are always going around doing bad things, bad things will come back around and get you.
