Can henna in Paul Mitchell products build up and cause breakage if you lighten your hair?

Question

This is a question for my wife....she knows that you are not supposed to lighten hair that has already been colored with Henna, but she is concerned with some of the Paul Mitchell products because she has seen Henna listed in their ingredients. If you keep using their products over and over with these ingredients in it. won't that cause the Henna to build up and then cause your hair to eventually break if you lighten your hair.

nah. henna actually nourishes your hair and will not do that. Other daily styling things may do that.
