Sounds like tendonitis to me or "tennis elbow." You are smart to treat it with ice. Start taking ibupropren (Advil) and keep taking it around the clock, every 4 hours. My tennis coach once told me this when I complained of a painful elbow and three days later had some relief. Also there is a strap you can buy from the drug store that you wear below your elbow when you are exerting it. Keep using it all the time except when you sleep.

Good luck.

My husband is a surfer and has had problems with sore sholders. He uses a Solompa. It's a cayenne pepper patch, like a giant band aid that heats up.We buy them at Sav-on in the section of the store where you would find Ben-Gay and other pain treatments. It only costs about $2.00 and it really seems to make a difference.Hope you feel better soon......
