I have seen too many saying or writing others are 'too thin' when they are a NORMAL weight. did we forget what a normal weight even is anymore?
I think people would honestly be shocked if they took a look at a health chart for weight. Do you know that for someone who is
5'4, 119 lbs is normal, and for someone who is 5'0, 100 lbs is normal?

I am 5'4 and when I was 118 lbs. people were accusing me of having an eating disorder when I was only healthy. I ate what a human being should eat and worked out. --felt better than I ever have in my life!! Now that I'm 127 lbs, I STILL hear people saying how thin I am!, I am on the heavy end if you ask me!

memyself, I was asking a serious question, I was not using the question for an opportunity to brag at all.
I really think that the average person is becoming so big and fatty in our society, that it is becoming the NORM. --so that when they see someone of a normal weight, perhaps just a tad on the thin side, they accuse them of "being too skinny".
Is it ok the next time to say, " NO, you are just too fat to tell the difference"

...and just to let you know, I have very broad shoulders and "big bones".

YOU are the reason that people get fat. they feel bad and they binge. so be nice. and sure health charts are a guide line, for the average healthy weight, but is somebody who is 5'4'' and has broad shoulders, big bones ( not the usual "i have big bones" crap, no seriously big bones, like their hands and feet are big), a bigger chest and wide hips supposed to weigh the same 119 lbs as a petite 5'4'' girl with narrow shoulders, no butt, and no boobs? I REALLY don't think so. I'm sorry that you were falsly accused of being somebody who has an eating disorder, but quit bragging about your weight. Some people really do have eating disorders, some really are to thin. And many are not. But you didn't like it when talked about you, so quit ragging on others.

"Normal" is a statistical construct defined by observing what actually is; not what you think it should be.

"Healthy" is a relativistic construct, most often used in the modern world by people who want to persecute others on account of the weight, bulk, or combination of weight and bulk that characterizes the targets of such persecution.

When I was in the USAF, I was 69 inches tall and weighed 189 lbs -- which, coincidentally, was 5 lbs more than my MAW (maximum allowable weight) after the charts were revised. The "ideal" weight for my height was (according to them) 164 lbs.

When my weight is between 185 and 195 lbs, my torso has the sort of taper characteristic of classical sculptures; above 195, I lose the athletic shape as the fat cells expand mostly in my belly and buttocks areas.

I've been a 260+ lbs adult (69-70 inches tall, depending on when & who's measuring; 40-42 inch waist) for literally years at a time, without ANY adverse health consequence. I've also been as THIN as 168 lbs (28-inch waist).

I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with being a 69-70 inches tall guy weighing 168 lbs and/or having a 28-inch waist -- but I know that I attained that weight/bulk only during the depths of severe depression -- which is most assuredly UNhealthy.

If you are happy with your body shape, it doesn't matter if you're 5'0" and 800 lbs (I defy you to find anyone that meets that criteria). I wouldn't want to weigh 400 lbs, because I lack the physical stature to comfortably carry that weight -- but

I know a guy that's about 76 inches tall and 360+ lbs (40 lbs under 400 lbs). He's got a noticeable gut. He's also the quickest martial artist I've ever seen in person (and I've met more than a few exceedingly quick martial artists).

His combination of mass and strength, together with his quickness and speed makes him a most formidable adversary in hand-to-hand combat: no reasonable person (regardless how skilled) would upon knowing his ability even consider fighting him in personal combat.

One of the sexiest women in my high school was 67 inches tall and 93 lbs (which was almost bony, but not quite; she carried herself well and ran on the track team).

My ex-wife was about 64 inches tall and 132 pounds -- and by any reasonable athletic standard, she was very healthy.

Each person is an individual: although it is true that almost everyone can from birth be trained as a warrior, can be conditioned through aerobic exercise to run longer and faster and farther, can through physical discipline be made stronger -- the degree to which such matters are priorities in a person's life (indeed, whether such matters are at all priorities in a person's life) is rightly and best decided by that person and no one else.

i do not imagine it concerns precisely the position the money comes from it is going to value so much better money than what it does today. If those expenditures are exceeded on to the customer then all of us pays for it that way if law is exceeded to accelerate taxes to conceal it then (those with out wise accountants will in all probability ought to pay) the typical public pays. IF the price spiral should be managed as is became hoping by technique of Obama then the properly-being besides because the profitability of yankee business enterprise will improve. the significant great thing about popular health care is the humanity afforded by technique of having help to those in pick. Reluctance and scoffing at its proposed benefit is subsequently of the large ABUSE perpetrated by technique of unscrupulous operators who've been defrauding the Medicare & different structures. the ecu equipment of value further tax is a validation of the concept of all contributors paying a share for the person-pleasant good---it sounds quite large yet my chum in Germany who has corollary monetary issues has no medical insurance and is tax broke besides!! Germany remains paying for the absorption of Deutsche Demokratische Republic so received't be a straightforward parallel even in spite of the indisputable fact that our equipment is overburdened with welfare for detrimental human beings and for Wall street. considering our authorities is now contained in the business enterprise of bailing out failed businesses once they attain a particular length what's the definition of earnings any way ??

I'm 5'2 and used to be 100 pounds struggling to gain 10 pounds. After 2 years, I'm finally 110 or a bit less and happier with my appropriate weight.
