agree the background is too dark so can't see the picture too good to make a judgment call. I would rather see the real you even if you think the cartoon looks like you. a pictures worth a thousand words as a cartoon is one worth one. sorry if that sounds mean but it is the truth.

I'm really sick of the people who ask "Is my avatar hot?", "Do you like my picture", "Am I hot?" when they don't even have a picture, just an avatar. And how can an avatar be hot?!?!? So no your avatar is not hot. It's pretty boring and there's too much browns. Change your background

So what happens if you don't have the hottest looking avatar? *insert rolling eyes* Personally, I'd be more concerned about what you write. That is going to say far more about yourself than your choice of avatar.
