I am doing a public speech for my county fair, and I need help. I want to do something educational and science based, but I can't think of or find anything.

You could do something about a recent issue in agriculture. Some topics may include: Bio-diesel/Ethanol, BSE/Mad Cow Disease, Bio security in Agriculture, GPS(Global Positioning System), Organic Products, Avian Flu, GMO(Genetically Modified Organisms), and many other topics are out there!

Not sure if this will help but there are list of topics on the following pages - you might get some ideas form this. There's also plenty of help on giving a speech and a book which gives loads of help about speaking clearly so your audience can understand your speech.
