We are having an empty chair for her and would like the bouquet to be on the chair.

so sorry to hear it, but it sounds like she will def. be there in spirit.
choose her favorite flower or "forget-me-nots"
include a framed photo of her on the chair and a note on specialty paper honoring her spirit.
I went to a wedding recently where this happened, but w/ the groom's son. it was very sweet to see his photo on the chair - we all knew he was smiling down.

A cascade style bouquet that drapes would be so beautiful! I agree with having a photo of her on the chair too.
My deepest sympathy to all of you. You have courage and strength and are so very thoughtful to want to do something so poignant.

Wow, my heart goes out to you.....get her a bouquet of her favorite flowers, or if you don't know what those are, get various colors of roses.
