I'm a level 2. You can ask more questions, etc, but that's about it.

In the Genealogy Category of Yahoo Answers, where you've placed your question, Level 2 might be the next generation up or down in a family history.

You've placed your question in the wrong category. I'd suggest asking it in the category, Yahoo! Products (subcategory, Yahoo Answers). You'll probably get quite a few more responses there.

My best to you.

I wouldn't believe that. I was told that when I first signed up, now I have 216 points and I am still level 1. I don't get it either.

you become twice as sad as people on level 1. When you get to level 3 (like me) you become three times as pathetic.

You gain access to some of Yahoo's secret inner workings.

Not quite... you get to answer a few more questions/day, and ask more/day. That's about it. It mentioned some 'coming soon' appreciation award, but no idea what that is.
