I don't know if I'd call it blasphemy, I would say it's using His name in vain, which we are not supposed to do.
By the way, I have a very bad habit of doing just that, when no one is around. In traffic! It's so embarrassing. That will dispell the myth that Christians never sin, by the way. This is such a terrible habit and I pray God help me stop it!

Depends on it's usage and your intent... but, I seriously doubt any level minded person would call "aw jeez!" blasphemy...that's a strech.

I used to say "Aw Gaww"....without the D. My Baptist friend said it was the same as taking God's name in vain because of the intent. The reason I spoke this way, though, was to not take God's name in vain....I had changed to saying "Aw Gaww" to not offend....
So, Because of intention, I said "Aw Gawww", not the other way around.
What is your intent...to take the name in vain or not? That's your answer.

no, not at all. i say it all the time, but usually with two a's and a h, then jeez followed by two exclamation marks. "Aah Jeez !!"

It is only blasphemous if you, personaly think it is. Even if you think it is an all right thing to say, if you say it around a person who thinks it is blasphemous, you are still wrong doing that person, for you are saying that it is okay to act against your conscience.
