Doesn't it always seem as though when it rains, it pours?
We have all been there, one time or another. Some will say this is God testing your faith. Others will say this is life's way of proving to you that Jesus and God aren't real.
I went through that, and became an atheist for quite some time. I was raised Christian, and at one point in my life, had been very strong in my beliefs. I found, after a time, once I had healed, that I in fact did have a faith in God, but not the Christian one. I feel more at peace, and complete, than I ever have in my whole life, since I found Paganism.
In the end, what this means to you, and in your life, is ultimately up to you to decide. Take things one task at a time, one day at a time. Give yourself some time and space to think, and grow, spiritually. Don't patronize yourself with what you think "God" expects of you, or what others around you think. Do what feels right. Take that journey. You will be surprised where it may lead you. Blessed be!

I know what you mean about having all happen at once. It's really hard isn't it? I would imagine tho, that perhaps your faith in man was bruised, not your faith in God. God didn't do this bad stuff, He only does the good, and blesses you. He will use the bad things, but He doesn't do them to you. He loves you and knows what you're going thru.
When hard things come, it's like a test on the material that you've been learning about God. The test is not for God, He already knows where you are in your heart, sometimes the testing is for us to help us to see where we are in our walk with Him. It's one thing to be strong in the Lord and be victorious when nothing is happening. It's when the trials come that we learn. We grow. Cry out to the Lord and tell Him all, He is your Father and wants to talk with you about these things.
Pray about all of it. Sometimes He will want you to say something to people that have hurt you, and sometimes He doesn't want you to, but you'll know what to do when you stay in touch with Him. I always like to go to the alter and tell Him everything, and I always feel better. This will pass, and you will learn many things from it too.

The best thing you can do is meditate. You must realize that, even though God is in controll of the universe, He allows people to utilize thier free will. If someone smokes crack all day and they rob their family for money, God didn't take the money, the crack-head did (I say this from peersonal experience as a former crack-head). Also, "hard times" are often put in your life, not as punishment, but to strengthen you. Also, while "turn the other cheek" isn't always something we're capable of, remember that your response should show the image of Christ.

First off! be proud of yourself and your courage in "letting go" and realize that by forgiving you have taken a step in the Christ's footsteps. God himself says in the Bible that in order to be able to come to Him in prayer for forgiveness, we must FIRST be FORGIVING of OTHERS. (Matthew 6:14, 15; Mark 11:25; Luke 11:4). Otherwise God will place a "Cloud like Mass in His way, so that he will not HEAR your unacceptable prayers. (Lamentations 3:44).
However, if you approach God "and soften His face" by first "softening your own Heart" then He will accept and Hear your prayer, finding it acceptable. (1 Sam. 13:12; Dan. 9:13) and (2 Chron. 34:26-28; Ps. 51:16,17; 119;58).
Then God may let himself be entreated, grant forgiveness and a favorable hearing.
SO NO MATTER HOW MUCH STRESS YOUR UNDER, REALIZE THAT WHAT YOUR DOING IS BLESSED BY GOD AND YOUR DOING RIGHT. These people are just trying to drag you down to "their level" and that is wrong. You, hun, are BETTER than that, and your forgivness of them shows it, don't slip and start hating, realize that you may not have to "love" them as a "family" member but as "christ" loved the world. Or as someone that deserves a chance at life, the same as you, even tho they may seem to "waste it." After all, were you always a good person or did you find your salvation? Perhaps at least one will someday follow your example.

I believe that taking time to be alone particularly at a place of beauty, near some water, or trees. I can identify with this, but over the years I have learnt not to take hurt on as much as I used to. Realise you live in an imperfect world with imperfet people, and that no one is perfect. As Christians, our expectations can be very high, particularly that of other Christians, and when they don't live up to our expectations of them, we become disappointed. There is a verse which I find useful. "Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life."
Spending time in God's Word is a wonderful way to be refreshed.
Also just tell the Lord how you feel, and ask Him to help you at such times. He is faithful God

You have not leaned enough on Christ. You say it took every ounce of your being yet you didn't even speak of the power of God. We all seem to learn so slowly not to rely on our oun strength or understanding and until we do God will keep the trials coming till He breaks us of our stubbornness. It is when we are completely broken of ourselves that we are most ready for Him and He will pick us up in due time so that we will give Him the glory He is due and not boast in our own abilities. Look how He dealt with Joseph humbling him in prison, Moses in the wilderness , and even His own people after they came out. He with held bread that they would look to Him, also water. We just don't realize how stubborn we are sometimes and trust ourselves instead of Him. On the bright side He knows what He is doing in your life and He will bring about His good purposes in you.

I've been there so many times. I don't know how many times I wanted to just quit life. And remind God he promised not to put more on me than I could bare..but each time I went through I got stronger..wiser. I forced me to rely on him, and trust me I have been on his good humor many of times and as God as my witness he has never let me down..NOT once, like the world has..I will never go back to Egypt.
If all I have left is him..I will be satisfied. God always shows up. This past week I got some really bad news on a family problem..it really broke my heart, I did as I always do..I went to him, I started to write a letter on my computer to God, (it helps me focus) I didn't get more than 15 words out and the phone rang, it was my daughter, she just wanted to call and ask if everything was all right..she just had a feeling to call..within 15 minutes I was fine..I needed to hear what she had to tell me..PERFECT..God never lets me down.
Sorry to write so much
God Bless you, and I will pray for you!

Pour your heart out to Him. He is ready to listen to your cies. He loves you more than you can imagine. Don't even use words, just pray from your soul. I can feel your pain and He, so much more. He knows every hair on your head, knows where you've been and where you're going. We are little children to Him. He loves us. Have you ever prayed for the Comforter to come? It's like when you were four years old and your mom or dad hugged you.
Matthew 25:40 has completely removed any need I ever had for revenge:
40"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.' (NIV)
God Bless!

My youth pastor put this really well.
Faith is like a roller coaster ride. You go up, down and take some hard turns, but after it all, when you come back to that station, you look back and say "wow, that was some ride".
You will have some hard times in your faith, but, through it all, the highs and the lows, you must trust God and Jesus Christ.
