Since I am trying out different churches I was curious what some thought was the best part.

I love it all so it is hard to pick one. I love the ladies sunday school class cause I get so much information on the bible. I love the main service cause God shows up often, and when He does its no telling what will take place.

I love both the worship service and being fed by the Word.

My recommendation is for you to find a place where you can really "dig in" to the Word. Calvary Chapels are a non-denominational association of churches around the world and are rooted very deeply in scripture, there is probably one in your area. They teach and preach the Word for a good hour every week, some places even have services during the week as well. Also, get involved in a small group Bible study with people your age. Fellowship with other believers is important for learning and growing.

Babe, get in the right church and you will love it all...praise & worship, prayer, the sermon (from a teaching pastor), altar call and offering (from cheerful givers). I can't say which I love most because all aspects move me toward full worship of the Lord.

A good church should have open doors. There should be prayer and praise & worship to lead you into the service. It should be biblically based. The pastor should teach while preaching and be able to refer his teaching back to the bible (not just pull them out of his hat). A church should address you fully as a person. Look for one that has a variety of ministries...men's ministry, women's ministry, senior's ministry, singles ministry, childrens' church, diverse music program, financial instruction, etc. Pray on it and you will be led to the right place for you. Remember...no church is right for everyone. The mega-church down the street might not be for you. Your "right" church may be the little one across town. Press on and be steadfast in your search. The Holy Spirit will lead you!

When I skim off my cut from the offering after I shake everyone's hand as they leave the service.Religion is the perfect con. It is government protected, tax free, and the product they sell never has to be delivered until you reach a place that doesn't exist. Little wonder so many con-men (and women) jump on that manured money wagon and become pastors like me.

since you probably mean a christian church ( as you don't specify )
i go to a spiritualist church where we have a healing moment.. we send out love to those in need of healing ( i like that )
but it has to be the mediumship demonstration of course that i like the best where messages are passed from spirit to their loved ones
just thought id tell you a little about my church anyway

I love praise and worship. But I think the word is important... more than anything, I believe it is important to be in a church where you can hear good sound biblical teaching.. that is what helps you with facing your day to day life and grow in your relationship with God.

Not going. I love driving by churches with a ton of people coming and going, all dressed up in uncomfortable clothes, and knowing that I don't do that anymore. It's wonderfully liberating.

LOL
I love to sing the hymns. I love all the music.
Sometimes at the church I go to, the pastor will begin with a "chidren's sermon". I love that!

When the pastor tells me that we're all scum. That there's no point in doing anything good without first becoming a follower of Jesus... because without Jesus anything good we do will be seized by Satan and turned to evil. Wanna donate to charity? It'd better be a Christian charity or else an orphan will die in Africa.
