If you're sweating because you're hot, maybe it's hot outside, your body is cooling itself down. If you're sweating while exercising, after 20 minutes you're burning fat and some calories too. Every time you move or walk you're burning calories, you burn them all day long. The more you move around the more calories are expended, the faster and longer you move the fat starts being used up as fuel. Hope this helps..........

You can sweat just fine sitting outside on a hot day. Sweating isn't burning fat and calories, it's losing water. When you sweat a lot without drinking a lot, you dehydrate. Has nothing to do with losing weight.

Sweating just means that your body is hot and needs to cool itself off. Depending on the activity, you COULD be burning fat and/or calories, but it doesn't necessarily mean that you are.

No. It just means your body is trying to cool itself. Buring fat is tricky. The type of exercise that is most beneficial to people trying to lose fat is cardiovascular exercise. You want to burn more calories than you take in... and slow "fat burning" exercise is not all that beneficial for your heart or your waistline. You need to hit 60-80 percent of your target heart rate. To find it go to www.polar-heartrate-monitors.com. That will get you the results you're looking for faster. Saunas and sauna suits are dangerous because they make you lose water weight, which you gain back when you drink water. They can also cause you to overheat. Exercising in the heat to sweat more, or in a hot room, are also dangerous. Don't fall into those traps.

Nope
You've increased your body temperature enough to stimulate your body's personal cooling system (in other words, sweat)
