i broke up with my bf yesterday because i got mad @ something that he did. he is a really sweet guy. when i did, i gave him back all the things that he has ever given me including a bracelet with his name on it. Before i gave him back the jewelry, he looked like "oh, i can deal with us breaking up", but then he almost refused to take it back. when he did he looked like he was about to cry. should i call him and make sure that he is alright? or do i leave him to "get over me". what should i do??? this is the first guy that i have broken up with that has really cared about me?

I would say do not call him because that might just make him miss you more. Try to have a mutual friend talk to him about it for you or some other way. Maybe even an email. But talking to him might make things harder for him. It would however be a nice gesture to let him now somehow that you care for his feelings.

You broke up just because you got a little MAD? Give ME his number so I can call him and tell him how lucky he is to be rid of someone soo into themselves she has to blow everything out of proportion! If you cared for him even 1/10th as much as you claimed he did you then you would have tried to talk it out instead of throwing a temper tantrum. Go back to your Mama, She is the only one that should ever have to deal with the terrible 2's.

if you had just been broken up with by someone who you really cared about wouldnt you want the chance to get over them first. why call him unless you've had a change of heart, talking to you might make him feel llike there's hope that you'll get back together.

im a firm believer of when you break up...it means you cant get along...aka cant stand each other, so why stick around? i say always move on. I have no idea why he got all ..weird when you gave him back the stuff.

well eaven just to be polite call him and make sure he's okay,u ddnt have to get THAT mad but he's realy hurt now
he might be angry when u call him but try to stay calm and talk over wat happend,say u overreacted and that u soarry if u're hurt
try not to turn it into a yelling conversation though..
i think it's not worth a brake up

Call him, it sounds like you really care about him deep down. Seems to me that you still want to be with him. Give him another chance, you'll be glad you did.
