I am an MD. Yes, you can live without a bladder. In the setting of Bladder Cancer when a person's bladder must be removed completely, the surgeon takes a portion of small intestine and creates an "artificial bladder" which is called an "ileal conduit" that then usually leads to a plastic bag on the outside of the body. This procedure is done in order to greatly lessen the chance of infection traveling backwards up the ureters and into the kidneys proper. It is possible for a person to live indefinitely with this arrangement.

People have had their bladder removed for cancer, and live with a catheter and a bag. It may not be pleasant, but they are only missing the place to store urine before voiding it.
Why is this question under botany?

Yes, without a bladder the urine just comes straight out but it doesn't kill you and it's not strictly necessary for life to carry on.. So you either use a catheter and a urine bag or a nappy. And just for once, I'm not taking the piss.

Sure you can. Folks with bladder cancer get theirs removed all the time and live a long and happy life after.
They can't accumulate urine, and need to wear a catheter all the time, but consider: Would you rather die screaming in pain from cancer, or wear a catheter. I'll take the catheter in that choice!

I would think it might be possible but you would need to be catheterized and carry your urine around with you. All the bladder does is hold the urine that your kidneys have filtered

I believe that you couldn't live without it because urine carries waste from blood. Without getting rid of this waste would be pretty harmful
