Well, look out for hints from him about what he wants. Also, it depends what he's interested in, if he likes sports, get him something sports related. And if you can't make up your mind, get him like cologne or something.

When it was my boyfriend's birthday I made him a scrapbook of all the fun times we've had together. I put a bunch of pictures in it and at the end I wrote him a sweet note. not much more than 5 months later, we got married! good luck!

A gift certificate to a store if you don't have any idea what he would like. His favorite would be nice so that he can pick out something he has been wanting but hasn't mentioned.

Do something thoughtful that you know he'd like; dinner at his favorite place, a movie he's been wanting to see and then afterwards, give him a peep show and some good lovin! You can't go wrong with that!

CD, his favorite sports team t-shirt/jersey/baseball cap, make him dinner and bake a birthday cake, throw him a surprise party, tickets to a sporting/concert event.

Whatever you give him, do NOT give him the cooch--! He's your boyfriend, not husband. He could take that and leave (unless, of course, you've already given it to him). I don't know. A picnic lunch or dinner works. Buy out if you can't cook...

well what age group is he in? I took a picture of my mans favorite race car he made & put it on a mouse pad. Also he is a car buff, so I got him a tire clock. Find out what he likes and get things about it.

It depends on what he likes. Tickets to a great game (i.e. Red Sox vs Yankees) or a trip to somewhere fun (Vegas).

get him tickets to an event of some sort.. you can score great seats on ebay but it will cost you (but I think it can be worth it). I've gotten my husband courtside basketball tickets, front row concert tix, ect.
