Yes when translating in to other languages some words dont translate they dont have words with the same meaning so they use a similar word.
Now think about 1500 years of translation and how confused it could be?
And thats just the honest mistakes and what about deliberate ones To manunipulate the people of the times to extract money from them.

Thank God for the Strong's Concordance. In the back (Strong's) it will give you the original Hebrew or Greek word and other words that may have been used to translate. It is always best to go back to the original source.
This can be plainly seen by making a copy of a copy. The more copies of copies you make, the further you get from the true picture. Finally, there will be no resemblance between the original and the copy.
This is one reason that I strictly use the KJV. Any religious freak could write a "bible". I am not interested in man's interpretation, I want to know what His (God's) word has to say.

The Bible, as in in it's original transcipts were not flawed. There are a few copyiest errors in some copies and some ambiguities in all translations, but overall, it has held up better than any other book.

Yes it is, because no one can translate it correctly and no one can analyze it properly. People do and have used the Bible to manipulate others.

I wouldn't be surprised to learn that the Catholic church changed much of the Bible just to manipulate the masses...like that movie Stigmata, no wonder that movie pissed the church off.

All holy books... ALL are flawed, because of human errors(either intentional or accidental) we are to search for meaning, and go by what our hearts say is true:)
