Would you consider someone for a serious relationship who slept with you sooner than a month after knowing you? Answer Honestly.

There are too many factors missing to give an honest answer.

For the most part - no. I would want more time to know the person and make sure that we are truly compatible.

I can see a situation where everything is clicking perfectly and it would be possible to become intimate before the month is over. In rare cases, you find somebody that you really click with from the beginning. Both people are able to have completely open, honest free-flowing communication and they have so many common interests that they are truly drawn towards each other much quicker than most relationships take. They have a desire to please each other and show their love for each other.

I cannot judge anybody for how little time or how much time passed before they became intimate with their partner.

Yes.

All of my long term relationships were less than a month with 2 weeks being the longest.

Most of my long term relationships, I had sex on first date, although in some cases, I had a friendship prior to the "date."

I never look down on anybody for wanting a normal thing like sex in a relationship.

I would hope that the relationship was serious enough in the first place to consider sleeping with someone.

Maybe...I had a girl friend once who wanted to do that. The sterotype is that women who do that are 'easy' or 'loose' but this girl ended being a really nice girl who really treated me well (I still regret how badly I treated her---Leticia, If you're out there, I'm really sorry)
Won't ask if this is a "personal experience" question, but If this guy likes you and is a decent guy, he will see the intentions of your heart, (like we allcan see now), and not just the hastiness of your flesh. Let him know how you feel, but ready yourself for the worst: guys can be jerks and idiots sometimes.

Choice of a serious relationship depends upon perfect match of wavelengths. The perfect wavelength match does not take any time at higher level. Yaah, if the wavelength matches perfectly, then must be considered seriously.

treena072,

Sex is very important to most guys. If he doesn't get it from you, he'll probably be looking somewhere else for it. Most girls seem to think that their guy should respect them, and not want to push the sex on them, but guys need sex.

If a girl had sex with me within a few weeks, I would definitely consider it a serious relationship. Unless, of course, if the sex was terrible. ;-)

One month you say...hmmmm...interesting. One month is a good peroid of time to weed out the skanks,ho's and golddiggers and by then it's closer to love then lust. So before that I would go NO on the one....but some girls are different and aren't about $$ and fall in love faster, but those girls will also wait if you ask :).

yes. if he waited almost a month ,then he sure sounds like he wants a long term relationship with you.most guys want it sooner(like the first date)or they will not want to spend time with you.

My wife and I slept together the first time we got together. 33 years later, we are still happily married and still in love. What's that tell ya?
