I had a bf that recently broke up with me because he said that he didn't like the fact that I was too outgoing and I had too many guys hiting on me. Do guys really care if a lot of guys hit on their girlfriend but she doesn't go along with and stays true?

Some guys do care if a lot of guys are hitting on their girlfriend as well as what in your own words is out going. I personally if some one is hitting on my girl friend and she is acting in a way to raise a Red Flag in my Gut feelings.

I will call it a day and move on. Some people the way people hit on them, you have a constant worry of them cheating on you if you are not around even though you have not seen it or have evidence to back up your suspicion.

To me personally any behavior that raise a Red Flag in such a situation is cause of concern.

I would have a problem with it but that is just because of my past history with girlfriends.

I have had a couple of relationships where I was dating a girl who was very outgoing. In one relationship, she loved the attention she received from me (which was a lot) but she also loved the attention she received from others and she loved to flirt - reassuring me that she was not seeing anybody but me.

I told her that I trusted her but my biggest fear was that another man was going to fall in love with her, not respect our relationship, and somehow steal her away. I was devastated when my fears became a reality.

It is ok to be outgoing in a relationship. It is ok to flirt in a relationship. If you are going to flirt, it is your responsibility to keep it real and remind the people that you are flirting with that you are happily involved with your man and you will not do anything to dishonor him or hurt him. If you are not capable of that they you are not ready to be in a committed relationship.

It is not enough to just remain faithful. You must let the others know that you are faithfully committed to your man. After all, how would you feel if your man was flirting with other ladies but not professing his love for you and his commitment to you? If they did not know better, they might make inappropriate moves on him and one might be just too tempting to resist.

As long as you stay loyal then we don't care. He's just being jealous so try downplaying the other guys and he will feel better
