i love him and i want him to follow his dreams but i also want the relationship to work. I just want to be a good girlfriend, but i dont want to feel stupid if i let him go and the relationship goes down hill from there. he's debating if he'll leave because he doesn't want to lose me,. help sos!!

You'll feel awful if you stand in the way of his potential career. The thing to do here is be supportive. And if you love him, have you ever considered moving out to Kansas City or somewhere very close to that if you can't stand living there? Try flying out there with him as a pre-trip if you will. Get a feel for the area and see how things are. If that makes you feel good, then go for it...move there and you won't have to worry about it. Don't let him give up on his dream...if you love him, you'll encourage him to pursue it, even if it means losing him in the long run. I hope everything works out for you guys though. It can work if you're both dedicated to doing so. Good luck!

The decission is urs. Do u love him that much to move to Kansas City with him?? If u doubt his decission, let him go, u do have to make a career for yourself as well!

if he doesnt follow his dream because of you, both of you will have regrets later on. if your relationship is strong, let him go, you can always follow later.
I think it is selfish if you talk him out of what he wants to do.
Have faith that it will all work out between you--if it doesn't, it wasnt meant to be...

why don't you go with him.if you want to be togther then go with him. and let him follow his life long dream of playing basketball. what ever you do don't hold him back.be there and suport him all the way.
