Usually when the subject of God comes up people will strain their ears to hear or their eyes to read. They will kick and scream all the way never understanding why. I am glad they respond. This shows their true interest. Take heart and don't be beat down. My husband bless his heart was the nearest person that i knew as an Atheist, I never hounded him about believing in the Lord. I prayed continually for him. My life was his example. He is now a Christian and studies the Bible extensively. He has his questions which we dissect and discuss thoroughly. I have my questions that are discussed also. He loves the Old Testament and I love the New Testament.

First of all what does it matter if I don't believe in your God or not. I shouldn't have an opinion about things because I believe differently? I have not once started a fight on here and have not been childish about any question. This is for all people and not just for Christians. If you want to ask questions to just Christians then you should get yourself a Yahoogroup for Christians only and invite your friends there. Some of you Christians are being very rude just because a few people are trying to make you angry at them. Don't direct that to all non Christians. Some of us are trying to help answer questions too and being honest and adult about it.

Yes, I notice this too! The reason for this is that God has set eternity in the heart of man.
In Romans 1 verse 20 says
From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky and all that God made. They can clearly see His invisible qualities - His eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse whatsoever for now knowing God.
People have a desire to know the truth. The Bible says "Those who seek me will find me, when they seek me with all their heart".
People are seeking! This is why so many hang around in Christian chat rooms.

I don't know which questions you are referring to specifically, or if I am one of the non-believers that you speak of. I don't consider myself a non-believer. I believe in a God, just not in the same context as Christians. However, if you are asking why they are responding in negative ways it is because they are just trying to get under your skin. The truth is that 'non-believers' are angry at how intolerant 'believers' are, and they are acting the very same way. So, all you can do is let it roll off your back and keep going with the knowledge that your spiritual path is what is right for you!

Again......This is not the "Only if you believe in god" section.
I am an Atheist. I have read and studied the bible. I have attended Church. I have studied many different types of religion. And after all of this I made an informed and educated decision to not believe in god. I can answer your question just as well or may be better than so called believers.

Non-believers spend much time thumbing through the Bible and other religious works finding areas that, to them, are debatable and are therefore more familiar with the wording than are believers. We take everything on faith and don't feel the need to be in a constant defense mode.

You ask inflamitory questions. You probably word the question to make yourself:
a) sound better than atheists (non-believer? you're an idiot)
b) sound stupid
c) reveal your ignorance
Don't put up such personal questions if you're afraid of getting opinions you might not agree with. If you can't handle it, stop. Besides, if you hold your religion so dear, why scrutinize it via Yahoo!Answers?

LOL 'ressurrectionist'...That was funny! hehe...
Well, not to speak for anyone else, but I was 'raised' in 'the church'....went to it for more than 20 years. I forgot more about the bible than some people claiming to be christians will ever know, because I used to study it all the time. It's interesting just to see the questions some people ask about it.

Facts, everything is about facts. Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhist, Muslims, they only have words, but where are the scientific facts? Moses said this, Jesus said this, Mohammed said this, Buddha said this, but where is it written? Did these men write all of this themselves? Did someone write it for them? If someone wrote it, then who wrote it? Why did only some people get these words and tablets, and others did not? This goes to the Mormons too, where are those tablets, and why has no one seen them? Where is the Carbon Dating for these tablets at? We want facts. Show me. Prove it to me. I am not a gullible person. I want facts. I want to see it.
