And I bet that super duper TV of his has a remote. Hide it...guard it with your life and tell him its been taken hostage until a NICE dinner appears on a plate in front of you. Guys are too lazy to get up and change the channel the old fashioned way! *L* (Sorry guys...but its true!) Just be specific about the meal or you'll get a slice of sandwich ham and a piece of bread!

so get off your @rse and make something for yourself. He chose to spend the ££ on a TV. If it was your ££ then you have room to b!tch. If it was his funds to do with as he wished, suck it up and deal, it wasn't yours so it isn't yours to whine over.
Unless there is something wrong with you, make your own meal. Somehow I doubt you'll NOT watch the new TV in some sort of pouting protest!
Get on with enjoying life (and the TV), it's too short to waste whining.

Perhaps he thinks you are substantial enough.
Or
As he has made a substantial hole in his bank account, he is waiting for the arrival of more substance before being able to take your needs substantially into account - Happy TV watching.
