It's also been printed in a book with lots of commentary, called The Gospel of Judas.
It's a "gnostic Gospel," coming from an early (and refuted) Christian tradition that says that this world is ruled by a demiurge (lesser God) and that those who truly "know" will be reunited with the true ruling God.
The Gospel indicates that Judas was the only one who knew that Jesus was sent by the ruling God, and that he betrayed Jesus at Jesus's request to help him shed his body and return to the ruling God.

It's one of the Gnostic gospels written by the Gnostic sect in an effort to legitimize their beliefs. The Gnostics and all their "gospels" were thoroughly denounced by the early Church Fathers (http://www.newadvent.org/fathers/) as heretical.
The Gnostics believed that all matter (including our bodies) was evil and that the way to salvation was through knowledge (Gnosis). In their "gospels", which were written mostly in the third century after Christ, they praise those who try to lose their earthly bodies by gaining ultimate knowledge. In the Gospel of Judas, the tale goes that Jesus basically "cut a deal" with Judas to betray Him so that He could achieve higher knowledge and leave His earthly body. He promised Judas that if Judas would do this for Him, Judas would achieve heavenly bliss.

the gospel of judas really isnt a gospel because the word gospel means good news and the good news is Jesus' resurrection which judas had been dead so it isnt recorded so therefore no good news then no gospel.

I don't know, but if you ever find it, it will NOT be the Gospel of Judas. Judas was a thief and traitor.

At the second link, you can download the text to read it.
It's about Judas... and the controversial part of it is that it says Jesus asked Judas to turn him over - that Judas didn't actually betray him.
There's a special on it on the National Geographic Channel every now and then, and you can also order it on DVD.

euwwww. Why would you want to do that? It's clearly one of the most obvious fake gospel because the authors of these often named their fake gospels after enemies of God on purpose.
