Description:
The Australian Terrier is a rugged and hardy dog with all the positive and few of the negative aspects of the terrier dog breeds. The Australian is a small dog which stands about 10 to 11 inches at shoulder height and weighs approximately 12 to 18 pounds. The terrier has a hard and straight weather proof overcoat with a soft undercoat. Australians are usually blue-and-tan but also may be solid red or sand-coloured. The tail is usually ******. Aussie Terriers belong to the Australian Kennel Club (AKC) Terrier Group.

The Silky Terrier, also called the Sidney Terrier, is a fine-boned, moderately low-set, long-haired terrier. It is compact but lightly built. It has erect, v-shaped ears and a docked tail. (Docking is illegal in some European Countries.) The head is flat and wide between the ears, with a shallow stop. The nose is black and the eyes are round and dark with a piercing expression. The teeth should form a scissors bite with a sturdy jaw. The body is slightly longer than tall with a level topline. The round, catlike feet are small and well-padded. Dewclaws should be removed. The coat is long, about 5-6 inches (12-15 cm). The fine, silky, shiny hair has no undercoat. It is very prone to tangles and mats unless frequently groomed. The coat should not reach the floor. The hair is parted down the center of the back. The coat comes in blue & fire red, or blue with tan markings. Many shades of blue are permitted. The topknot should be lighter in color than the tan points. Silky Terriers are born black.

Yorkshire Terriers, or Yorkies, are usually smaller than Silky terriers. Yorkies many times weigh between 4 and 9 kilos on a similar time as a Silky can weigh as much as fifteen. Silky Terriers are a pass breed (now recognized) between Yorkies and Australian Terriers. Aussies have greater wirey hair and yorkies have very advantageous hair. So, they inherited a blended hair that's no longer as advantageous, yet silky and a center length between the two. the two breeds are very stressful in spite of the indisputable fact that. they have an fairly good attachment ingredient too. i'm hoping this helps.

I've heard silky terriers are considered low allergy dogs, as are yorkies. Austrailian terriers are not. The Aussie is the biggest of the three, the yorkie the smallest.
