Because the horses don't like straight paths.

At least you're not going to be running on Ardennes for the next 4 years. Unless you have one of those squad leaders that like running more than 5 miles for PT.

The only bad thing about being off the street is I miss having area J right behind me to take my soldiers through. Now I get eaten alive by all the mosquitoes and horseflies when I run in the low areas.
