Recently, this Indian guy and I got together and I'm not Indian. He supposedly has liked me for a whole year and has only recently made a move. Then one time we were out and he was drunk and he mentioned something about how he'll have to marry an Indian girl eventually. I don't know if he remembered saying that and I didn't say anything about it. I just talked to him recently again and he still seems interested. Is he just in it for the sex? But we haven't had sex yet. Do all Indian guys have to marry Indian girls?

Forgot to mention, his brother married a non-Indian woman. But why does he have to specifically mention that he'll have to marry an Indian girl?

haha, wait till his family hears
indians dont marry "foreigners"
if you dont leave him soon, an old guy with a long beard and turban is going to show up at your door with a machette
theyre getting an indian girl ready to import to him from india. dont waste your time

No not all Indian guys marry Indian women. The real problem in this situation is why didn't you mention to him that he said that to you? If I were you I would discuss with him what he had said to you and take it from there. This is the only way to know. I hope everything works out.

mostly yea. i'm an indian gurl and that happens a lot. i don't think he's in for the sex i think he really likes u. mayb if he likes u enof he will change his family's mind and get 2 marry u. and some of these comments hurt our indian culture which is very rude like the first. mayb some ppl should study other cultures than just american.

Hopefully his family are mature enough to except that their son needs to be with a girl he wants to be with, not a girl that is forced upon him. I have many indian friends, some have had arranged marriages and others haven't...guess who are the happiest?! (and guess which parents regret their actions!). If his parents think his happiness is important, they will welcome you, if not, he needs to stand up for himself. As for the sex thing, all men have sex on the brain, but if you havn't slept together yet he obviously respects you. Don't worry, just start with having fun and hope you get together properly, he's liked you for ages - go for it !!.

Honestly, I don't see a problem with it. If he wants to take you out, GO!! He might just realize he wants you more than he wants an Indian girl. What have you got to lose?

Unfortunately this culture believes in marrying within the same culture and beliefs. And people usually spill the truth out when they are drinking because there guard is down.
Good Luck

The Indian culture is very strict. So I wouldn't get too attached to this guy.

That doesnt mean that he doesnt want a relationship with you. Your probably just not the one hes gonna marry. But give it a shot, you never know how things might turn out!
