I don't know you. I wish I did so I could advise you better. Some people find God and it comforts them. If it would comfort you I would want that for you. I would tell you to persist in your efforts. You could become Catholic so you could go to confession and get 1:1 personal attention and spiritual advicement and literally be reconcilled with God through a priest. It is called the Sacrament of Reconcilliation and there is no protestant equivalent. Now here's the catch, to do this you must first believe in God.

Can you find a way to believe in God? For that you are all on your own. Nobody can prove it or make you believe. They may all be in denial themselves. Atheist go through a real rocky time in the begining where we really come to understand the saying ignorance is bliss and wish we had never started to use our minds in the first place. You think, if I just didn't think, if I never questioned, I could be happy like the rest of them.

If this is where you are at please, for the sake of your own peace of mind, just let go. Let go of this notion that you HAVE to belive in some certain way, that there is only one right way to do it. You will toil on something that will drain you and lead you nowhere.

Go out into the world. Find your strengths. Find people you love and spend lots of time with them. Find a cause you believe in and through your energy into it. Educate yourself, use your mind, let it run free. Feel good about what you are doing. It is a difficult struggle most people don't ever have the courage to try. Take inventory of all you have done to improve this world and the lives of other people and make a list of other things you want to do to this end. Stop wasting energy on the god that isn't there.

You think you need to reconcile with god but maybe what you really need to reconcile with are your personal issues and conflicts. Why is it difficult for us to accept there is no god? For some it is the fear of dying. Some do not feel loved on this earth so they try to look for it elsewhere and if there is no god than nothing loves them. Do having these fears and emotional problems mean there is a God, no. So let it go and find a real answer to those problems.

No.

There's an old hymn...I don't know it, but I heard it some time ago...and these words are in it:

I owed a debt I could not pay...He paid a debt He didn't owe.

You cannot reconcile yourself to God. He knew that. That's why He sent His Son, perfect and without sin, to die for us....Jesus took the wrath of God that our sins deserved.....He bore our sins and thus God's requirement for sin (Rom. 6:23--wages of sin is death) on His own body.

It would be like if you robbed a bank and were caught and someone served the entire prison term for you, so that you could go free.

Your freedom, your access to God, your reconciliation was already bought and paid for. You need only accept it, thank God for it, and ask God where He wants you to go from here.

you don't have to be driven crazy to be reconciled with God. He is available for reconciliation 24/7

You appear to have a lot of conflicts in your life. Stop and think about all of this. You asked about suicide. It is definitely not the answer. If not for your soul then think
about this. You have family members that will wonder what they have done to you. The grieving process for you will never end. Also reconciling yourself with God is as simple as forgive me. Quit beating yourself to death. God casts our sins from Him. Don't you wish we could do the same.

You can't on your own. But there is someone that Loves you more than you can comprehend who has already done it for you.

Let Jesus cover you with His sacrifice on the cross. I'm crying right now because I yearn for you to know even a little of this great love. Surrender to it, let it envelope you and carry the pain for you.

That's what the Agony in the garden was all about. Jesus looked forward in time and saw your suffering and went to the cross and paid the debt for your sins.

No.....if you confess your sins, He will forgive you. That is why Jesus went to the cross, to pay the penalty for your sin.

You don't have to be driven crazy to try and get straight with God; ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, repent of your sins, desire to walk and live a life in His ways. Jesus is the only way....that is probably why you are in such distress....any other way will not deliver you to the throne of God washed clean. Only Jesus can do that.

Read the book of Romans in the Bible. Paul talks about the inward stuggle we all - as Christians - face daily. Remember: Jesus has died for every sin you have done and will ever commit in your life! Rest in Him and the work He accomplished on the cross and resurrection for our sakes. Ask our heavenly Daddy to replace your worrying with faith and you'll sleep a whole lot better! God bless...!

God provided the reconciliation. My problem is allowing the spiritual part of me to take control of my mind and body.
Glad I'm redeemed in the meantime though.

Nope, God is very willing to reconcile if you let him. After all, he loves us more than we can imagine
