They know nothing but what the bible says. Go ahead and tell me I'm generalizing, I don't care. True knowledge comes from your own mind, your own ideas. It's not layed out in a book in front of you. Do you think geniuses have a handbook, no. Just their mind.

I'm not exactly an atheist, but I think it's basically because my family has been hammering my head with the bible since I was young. My older brother is a pastor, and even though he might be fun sometimes he cant seem to get past the thought that I'm not a hardcore christian like him. I love rock music, and he thinks the words behind the wolfmother album are satanic. This people are just paranoid about crap like that. I think they need a freakin reality check.

I like the work "hardcore" way better than "rightwing" . I'm a Christian and most people try to not make total jerks of themselves, but yes, some are truly anoying.

The most annoying to me right now are those protesting funerals. I mean, how low can you go. And your right, they know nothing what the Bible says in this case.

But, that doesn't mean you throw it out. You have YOUR mind. Use it to read it yourself. Then beleive what you want.

"True knowledge comes from your own mind, your own ideas. It's not layed out in a book in front of you. "

Alrighty then, why do we go to schooll? To learn. Okay, from what? A book. Ok, then we use our minds to form belief, and opinion, intergrate it into ourselves, and with that we have knowledge. So, no, all knowledge starts with a teaching tool of some kind. Really.

If you were drowning, would you reject a life rope?
Christians were on the same destructive path as everyone else, until they were saved... The disagreement is out of love and obligation. God loved you enough to save you from the future you created for yourself, but trusting to godless enterprise, you choose to deny it. I have fulfilled my obligation to you. You decide to come along or die. I worry because I once was you, someone too blinded by his own intellect to realize I was being lead by deceitful people in key locations in society, keeping the truth hid.

Okay what you said makes no sence at all. Say you wanted to become a mathematician, you would need to study math books. You cannot just come up with random math knoweledge from your own head. Christians read the Bible because it is our road map to heaven, from Jesus.

If Christianity did no longer exist they does no longer have wrote or stated those issues. they could have got here upon yet one greater reason to do it. They have been needless to say unwell interior the pinnacle. you ought to argue the religion made them do it, subsequently spurring their violence. yet shall we face it, this replaced right into a terrible occasion you used. shall we no longer forget the Spanish Inquisition, a team of Christians who burned human beings on the stake and stoned and hung human beings for no longer believing their ideals. Or the Crusades, the place Christians and Muslims killed eachother over a similar flippin God. those issues make no sense once you contemplate them. you are able to blame faith or no longer, yet human beings are revolting creatures. If there's a God, he would not love us, and at last we are going to all only be smited.

I'd say hardcore drunks, or hardcore soccer fans, or hardcore dragons and dungeons players, or hardcore Wal Mart shoppers, or hardcore smokers, or hardcore overeaters are way more annoying. Hardcore Christians are trying to share something valuable with you. The other hardcores are having a party of one and wasting your time.

I disagree. Plenty of smart people have come before, and you can see far by standing on the shoulders of giants. Thinking for yourself is good, but remember that your perspective is limited.

That said, listening to a preacher is not exactly standing on a giant's shoulder. It's more like dealing with a dwarf, and you don't even get to stand on the dwarf's shoulders. He's standing on your head, jumping up and down, and shouting for you to climb down that well over there and close your eyes.

Are you serious? So if you study science you don't know true knowledge? That's learning. What you're saying is true geniuses don't learn. That's laughable. Literally. Funny HAHA. And it's "laid", not "layed."
