The following is a list of countries, by region, in which the US military has deployed troops. Many of the numbers are based on Department of Defense statistics from June 2005. Most of the countries listed here are countries with significant (more than 100) numbers of American soldiers.

The United States has (army) troops in the US, Germany, Bosnia, Italy, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Afghanistan, Philipines, Japan, South Korea, also rumored to be training anti-terrorism forces in the former Soviet republic of Georgia. US opperates Airbases in several other countries than those listed above, including Turkey. Naval installations include Japan, Cuba, Greece and Diego Garcia in the Indian ocean

You name it we're there. But that doesn't neccessarily mean that we are at war there or that there is even a problem there.
