Grandparents have everything, so do something centimental..
Recently I did this for my husband grandmother.
Get acheap large frame with many picture slots in it from wal-mart or a store like that, then get some of those scrap-booking stickers that have themes, like summer fun, weddings, babies being born...
Then pic out pics of your family and them doing different things and get the stickers that would go with the event, and make a sort of collage.. mine was a hit!

Money, especially if they are living on a retirement fund or social security.... gift cards to a department store, a massage parlor gift certificate, TV, TiVo for acouple of months, lessons on something they like (local tech schools work well), or just something you made...

Monogrammed bath towels.
Most couples don't really get nice towels after their wedding, so it might be nice to get something special like that again and bring back memories of when they first opened their wedding gifts together.

a small silver photo frame with a photo of all their grandkids!! You can do this with a digital camera and your printer. Doesn't have to be photo quality paper even! - and a homemade card with everyone writing their special wishes would be most cherished.

Why not talk to your family members and see if you can all go in and get them a vacation package...even just a 3 day package would be nice.

Have an artist paint a christmas decoration for them with their names and anniversary date on it.maybe you know someone that paints,have them do it.Mine loves theirs!!
