I missed your offensive material.
I am surprised that you were not aware of the lack of faith in this place. I hope you realize that you can believe the Bible from cover to cover and still be lost. The devil also is a believer. If belief can save, than the devil would have salvation.
There are really no non-believers in this place as everybody must believe something. The Scriptural term "believe in your heart" is a synonym for faith. Believe with you heart is not more fervent belief or one belief put on top of another or unquestioning belief as todays dictionaries say.
The Scripture says that faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. So then, belief is what you think about something but faith is what brings things into reality.
In your last sentence you are close. If the holy spirit, that spirit being the Lord Jesus, touches you with His life and revelation, you will be able to read and act on John 3:16 or any other Scripture He will open for you. If not, you will never understand.
If you are not filled with the holy spirit your testimoney and your teaching, even in this place, will not produce life in your readers. You must bring the life of Christ to people, not your idea or even the correct doctrinal idea. It is life to life or it is death. You not only need to be called but you must be chosen.
If you are called to give a certain testimoney you may expect to be called a loon and bonkers or worse. If it bothers you, and what your grandchildren might think bothers you, then I suggest that you are not called to do what you are attempting to do.
Do not neglect personal testimoney of what the Lord has done for you. As far as giving a general call for action to Christians or to the Church I believe that you are out of order.
If you have a true call you will have a sure word and no need to drop an email address.
I have further concerns seeing that your affiliation is Baptist.
I would suggest to you that the Baptists have not given proper teaching regarding the holy spirit for 70 some years, when they knew what was right. I trust your understanding is current.

Im sorry I made an example out of you, I shouldnt have called you out like that. Let me just say, Ive been on this forum for a long time, and people get really obnoxious sometimes, and post crazy stuff, and there are alot of non-believers here that antagonize others. My apologies for being unsure how to take your posts. I hope you stick around, you have to have a thick skin here, when defending your views.
God Bless you, Love in Christ. Apologies.

Apology accepted. Many people get annoyed when you preach to them; they've heard it all already. Try following the advice of St. Francis - "Preach the Gospel at all times. If necessary, use words." Let your primary form of preaching be the power of example.

I understand what you mean... and got a smile when I read your reply to that question. I'm sure God smiled too. It makes me angry when people insult the loving God that we fear out of respect. They will have to stand in front of Him one day and explain every thought and action. We can only pray and maybe reach one or two people on Yahoo answers. God Bless

Don't apologize to the non-believers. I realize that while you are a nice person, and want not to offend anyone, there are plenty of people who don't care who they offend. As Christians, we definitely have nothing to be ashamed of in their midst.

Let me get this straight, you did'nt realize that there were "non believers" on this board?
What? Did you fall off of the turnip truck this afternoon and land on a laptop?

Hmmm.
I'd go with 'loon'.
But 'bonkers' is also appropriate. You should really put it to a vote.

My dear... how you feel about non-believers like me is quite clear. To say you feel differently simply because you know I'm listening is hypocritical. I want you to be enlightened and tolerant, not just say you are.
