They have shown repeatedly that they are quite capable of defending themselves. Note that both Egypt and Jordan are steering clear of this latest round of Muslim goofiness.
Israel has shown remarkable restraint in this present situation. In the U.S., we lost three buildings and four passenger aircraft to these murderers and we wiped out the governments of two countries to keep it from happening again.
Make no mistake, if Israel is pushed beyond the point where they feel that their precision counter-attacks are insufficient and that they may be "wiped off the face of the earth," as the Iranian nut-case Ahmadinejad has said, they can easily turn both Tehran and Damascus into smoking holes. I have no doubt that they would do so.

That as i am happy to say is exactly what they should do. Israel and the Muslim countries have been going at it since biblical times and i for one think Israel one country against the Muslim countries needs to show them what they are messing with because obviously these "diplomatic" talks aren't working so it about time they came out guns blazing on Lebanon who are complete idiots for not just releasing the soldiers. And i think that Lebanon is only a little of what Israel can really do. So those Muslims better sleep while they can because once Israel explodes nobody will dare get in the way

The Muslim world know they exist. You could tell by the thousands and thousand that have been killed by the Israelis. What Israel is doing is just as much terrorism and anything that was done by any Arab country. The only difference is the Lebanon didn't do anything to Israel hezbollah did, that is like attacking America to get rid of the bloods and crips. It is ridiculous. And the Hezobollah has kill many less civilians than Israel

I think they've come to realize, like Chamberlin under Hitler, that you cannot pacify animals like this. They've been forced to give up land under the auspices of peace, and have been attacked repeatedly from the gaza. So, let's forget the Oslo accords and re-occupy the territory. They're slowly doing that. Hamas has overplayed their hand, and they cannot answer the challange of the israeli military.
Hezbolla is a different story, the lebaneese government has failed to control them, allowing rocket launches from their territory into israel repeatedly since the late 80's pull out from Beruit. So, who is to blame the israelis for doing what the lebaneese wont?

If they keep going, there will be no one left to say "I'm right and you're wrong." I think the entire middle east has had "just enough" of the terrorism and the blaming. Its the extremists on every side who are causing all the carnage, not the everyday man and woman in the street.

I hope so, If the Lebanese govt had removed Hezbollah from the southern border, like the UN agreement said they had to this would not have happened. Also, if terrorists did not put all the munitions in residential areas civilian casualties would have been much less , but that's not what terrorists wanted.

Yes, I imagine they have had enough of terrorism. I hope this all ends quickly, but I fear it will not.I think they will show, that they do, and have, a right to exist.

Yes, it does seem Israel's patience has worn out.
They should have destroyed the Hezbollah and Hamas cults years ago!

I think they have had enough b.s. and plan on putting an end to the attacks on their country. Unfortunately, I do not think they can handle Iran/ Syria on their own right now.
