If I adopt a child at birth, keep him on a deserted island his entire life, never tell him about religion, Jesus, etc., will he go to hell when he dies, according to Christianity?

A lot of people are answering that I would go to hell for creating this situation, but that's not relevant. I care not what happens to me. I am only want to know what happen to the child when he grows up and dies.
And to be more specific, the child will spend his entire life on the island and die at the age of, oh, let's say, the ripe age of 30.

No I don't think the child would, according to Christianity. There is somewhere in the bible, New Testament I believe, that says something like...people didn't know specifically what sin was, or that they were sinning until the book of laws was made. If I were to interpret this literally, I would apply it to the adopted kid's situation.

I have a son we adopted at birth. Instead of doing the island thing, we decided to tell him about Jesus. He seems a lot happier than some of his friends who haven't been told. As far as hell goes, I'd just as soon not gamble. Too many prophecies have come true, to the letter, to bet against the Bible.

The real answer is going to depend on the choices he makes while on your island as we all know right from wrong. Since most religions are wrong anyway that part may be a good thing, however, faith in God is key,and that is what determines the outcome. You however will suffer dire consequences for holding that part back.

According to christianity since he has never heard the christian gospel he will be judged by his conscience -
Here's the scrpitures from the Christian Bible
Romans 2:14-15
14 for when Gentiles who don't have the law do by nature the things of the law, these, not having the law, are a law to themselves,
15 in that they show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience testifying with them, and their thoughts among themselves accusing or else excusing them

Different sects of Christianityhave different opinions on this. I think the overall opinion is that since the child never got a chance to hear the truth about God & Jesus, he gets a sort of "second-chance drawing" to see if he deserves to be reborn or go to heaven.

Instead of attacking, why can't you all just answer the friggin question? If you are so sure that the child will not be sent to hell, I'm curious to know WHY you think that? Is it in the bible? Does it just seem that it should be that way to you?

No, but you will. Just kidding!!
I hope someone who knows the exact scriptures answers this for you, but I know the Bible says that we are all born with a realization that there is a creator of us. The child would find his own ways to worship the God that he knows exists, and anyway, God is not totally unreasonable.

Nah.. I believe My God is a Fair God.
He gives chance to everyone to choose and so will He also give ur child a chance to choose whether to follow Him or no.
He won't push that child to follow Him although He wants the child to follow Him.
He is the Creative One. There are many ways He can do to call your child..

Maybe, but he'd probably enjoy it just for the change in scenery.
(Actually, there's no evidence that heaven or hell exist. However, it is enlightening to know that there are so many wise discerners reading here who know who gets to heaven or hell.)
(And if you believe that not educating someone about your religion condemns yourself to hell, too, then unless you're a missionary, you're following the same course.)

I personally do not believe that child will go to Hell, the child was not given knowledge, therefore he did not have the freewill of making that choice (of weather to Believe in Christ or not. But the parent who had the knowledge and did not give it to the child....well I pray for his/her soul.
