Taylormade makes the best driver with the R7. Ping makes the best irons with the G5 custom fitted set. Nike makes the best ball. But the overall best brand is Taylormade

Nike clubs aren't as good as you'd think
Ping makes a very high quality club which costs a little less then TaylorMade
TaylorMade is a very expensive club and i dont like them as much as Ping anyways

Those are all good clubs the important thing is getting the right club for you. The club needs to look good to you, the right lie angle and shaft flex are also very important. I have some good links on my blog roll that can help you find the right set. I suggest you go to as many demo days as you can Go to the company website to find out dates and times of demo days. Don't purchase a club until you it or one like it, unless you can return

Cobra would be my choice, especially drivers and woods, Cobra has different drivers and woods made for different swing speeds, and Cobra isn't as expensive as a lot of other companies. If your looking for a ball, go Bridgestone and boom it.
