Yes, the God of the OT (aka Jehovah) is Jesus Christ. God the Father, our Heavenly Father gave Jehovah the power to create the world and everything in it, therefore He (Christ) is the God of this world.

There are several forms of the meaning of the word "God" in the bible. This is because there are several different definitions of the use of God in the Hebrew language. You can see this if you use Strongs Concordance of the bible, which I use. The majority of the usage of god is the old testemant, (lower case normally) means jehova or yahaway (however you spell it).
There are few that mean Elohem.
The more you study hebrew the more you realize how much the translators missed by translating it into English, Which is why so many new bibles have come out, each translation trying to be better than the last. The interesting this is that they have yet to find two biblical manuscripts that are the same, and none of the originals. So noone knows how accurate the bible really is to the originals.

God of the Old Testament was Jehovah God. God did not choose to reveal Himself as a trinity (Father, Son, Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit) until the New Testament. (For example read Matthew 28:18-20 in The Holy Bible.) Christians know and trust Jehovah God in the person of Jesus Christ who came to earth to die for the sins of the world. They know and accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior from sin. If you never have, you need to do this today.

No Jehovah is not Jesus, although there are some religions who think so. Jesus according to Colossians 1:15 Is the first-born of creation, which means he was created by Jehovah, the very first one of Jehovah's creations

Jehovah is another name for Jesus, so yes. Christ has many names and I did not know for a long time that he was referred to as "God", I always thought that was our Heavenly Father.

After Adam and Eve, their fall from grace, God gave them the desire of salvation, promising redemption. about the year 1850 BC God chosen Abraham to be the daddy of the Israelites, His chosen people Abraham had a son whom he talked about as Issac, Issac had Jacob who had twelve sons. The twelve tribes of Israel were named after Jacobs sons. In about the year 1250 BC God chosen Moses to lead the Israelites out of their captivity in Egypt into the promise land. God gave His people the ten Commandments to Moses on Mt. Sinai and customary a Covenant with the individuals. God spoke to His people in the course of the centuries through His prophets. The prophets persevered to remind the individuals of the Covenant with God, of His commandments, and presented to them the message of salvation interior the Messiah who changed into yet to come back. even as Christ, the Messiah, got here He customary a sparkling Covenant. Jesus Christ is genuine God and genuine guy. Jesus is just one man or woman; the 2d man or woman of the Blessed Trinity, God the Son, begotten from the daddy before each age. Jesus is consubstantial with the daddy and the Holy Spirit. Jesus assumed human nature uniting it to His divine nature. There are 2 natures in Jesus: Divine and human. As a guy, God the Son Jesus has a human body and a soul as all people do. Jesus took upon Himself a human body and soul like ours interior the womb of the Blessed Virgin Mary by using the skill of the Holy Spirit. each little thing that Jesus is and does in this nature derives from "one team spirit of the Trinity".
