no, like all other viruses of the religion variety, it gets its victims to do all the work for it and to spread it as it uses each new host up.

Anything of this sort works, as long as you believe it hard enough. What is involved is the mental power behind the act, like prayer. Examples: If several people pray for Mr. So-and-So to get better from cancer, the mental power of all the people behind the prayer would have a positive effect to him getting better. If a person wishes another person would leave them alone, if their mental power behind the wish is strong enough, it would work. Same principals apply to voodoo- just remember, what goes around WILL come back three fold, so be careful what you put out there.

Voodoo, like other superstitions, relies on lack of rigorous verification along with a healthy dose of general credulity to sustain itself. A voodoo priest is no more magical than a bag of hot dogs.
