When giving presentation or speaking up in class, I'm too quiet, my hands shake, and grows cold. My heart pounds and I forget everything I was going to say. When I finally sit down, I forget completely what I had just said. The best way to describe it is that I blank out.

It’s kind of scary because I can’t remember at all! I don’t remember anything and I have to ask my friends what I said and what the teacher had said to me.

It's scary because minutes after and even weeks after I can't remember what I said or what was said to me during the presentation.

If this just happens only during presentations, ask your doctor for the drug, Inderal. It's a betablocker which slows down your heart a bit and reduces the flushing in your face and shaking in your hands. You take it about 30 minutes or 1 hour before your presentation. It's a high blood pressure drug, but doctors prescribe it for stagefright soemtimes. It works better than a tranquiler like Ativan, because it doesn't make you drowsy.
