She lifts her leg out of instinct so she doesn't get urine on her fur.

The only times I've seen females life their legs when peeing is when they're alpha dogs. If she's young, you might want to look at that as you'll need further training and socializing if she's an alpha dog. It might be a good idea to find a good trainer to assess her and then they can tell you what would be most appropriate for her.

If it's just because she likes to, then so be it, not a big deal, I wouldn't worry about it.

Is there any particular reason that you need this behavior stopped? If not, I suggest that you just let it go. This behavior is not all that uncommon in female dogs with dominant personalities.

They only way I know that might curb this behavior is having her spayed, which would lower her level of certain hormones. However, I would consider this an extreme response if you do not have reason to have her spayed anyway considering both the cost and the dog's well-being.

This is a dominance issue. She must feel that she is very high up in the hierarchy or believes that she is alpha. Try obedience training her and practicing with her every day for about 10 minutes. Make her sit or lay down before you give her food. Make her sit or lay down before you take her outside for a walk. My female labrador did this and i did like i told you and she stopped lifting her leg.

Maybe you can't, well if you want something done, even if reversing the very cycle of this dog-peed world, do it correct by holding his rear legs, and waiting for "her" to pee, and when it does, you are gonna thank me and choose this as the best answer.

You can't. Some girls just do that. And it's
no big deal. Let her go whichever way she wants. If it bothers you, look away.
