He likes you, no doubt about it! When he says that you will meet the right guy eventually,he is hoping that it will be him!! His asking you if you have had any dates recently is his way of asking if you are still available, he is curious to know if you've found anyone yet. He is giving you every signal he can to let you know that he is interested, but he's afraid to come right out and ask you out. Maybe he's just afraid to ask, considering you wrk in the same small office. If you are trying to date again, like this guy (even as a friend), or feel an attraction to him, make the first move. I guarantee you that he is interested in you, and can't work up the courage to ask (I have the same problem).
Please let me know how this works out!

Having a relationship with a co-worker is at best a tough situation. As long as the two of you work together in a small office, there's no way you can get away from each other to enjoy your own personal time. Not only that, if things go wrong, you have no way to be away from him.
Companies have rules against dating within the same office for very good reasons. First, you can be too distracted in the beginning of your relationship to be as effective as possible at your job. Second, when things go south - and most times they do - the intimate office you share together can become a hostile environment and create problems you can easily convince yourself now will never happen. Believe me, they do.
Be careful you don't let your budding interest interfere with your professional career.

He likes you, but what is his situation......Ask yourself is he trying to take advantage of you b/c he knows your dating situation (inside information)? Or is he genuinely interested in you? Also do you really want to date someone you work with. Stop focusing on the 3yrs you've been single but on what and who do you want to be with for the next 3yrs and more. Look forward not backwards. Take your time, don't rush and what do you know about him and his dating situation? Looking for a man is a lot like shopping, don't buy the first thing you see, nor do you want to buy something just b/c it's a bargain.....shop around and you'll find what you're looking for.

Run..... Never date someone in the same office as you. You need space as bad as it seems to not date for three years, dating someone that works that closley with you bad sign. I've done it before and it was just a conquest after the fact I was like whatever I don't want to chill with you I work with you. You know, don't put your self through that. Just keep looking and keep those batteries charged becasue small office dating is stupid.

I would say he might be into you. From you what you say he might be makin subtle gestures like you mention. Maybe try going with people from work and talk with him....(Have a clear head at the same time. Alcohol can be bad). Get to know eachother and you might be surprised, however, dating someone you work with can also be bad. Eevn if you two get to that point you might want to reconsider dating the dude.Good luck!

I would say neither. You're not reading too much into it and he's not just being friendly. He's interested in you. Make the first move if he won't and ask him out

He likes you and if you feel the same go for it, but don't move to fast things at work can be uncomfortable really fast if you two aren't as compatible as you thought you might be.
