My mom has been in the military for several years....so she has a strong sense of what is and what isn't without any room in between...No matter what I do, I can't seem to meet her standards. I just want her to be sastisfied with my best for once. She has threatened to kick me out, but my fiance and I are saving to buy a house.....I do everything she ask and still she isn't happy. What should I do?

just hang in there until u got the money to buy a house. it only takes 10gs for a down payment and someone nice enough with good credit to co sign. just smile and nod then get out when you can and dont worry bout her opinions. you are your own person and have your own ideas and values. dont listen to other people that tell you your not good enough.

Get out of the house and learn to make it on your own. I'm glad you and your fiance are saving to buy a house. Be a responsible person and show everyone that you can do it on your own two feet.

If you are old enough to have a fiance you are old enough to be about your business!!! Get out of your Mom's house. You might have to save money longer but at least you will have peace of mind.

Continue to approach your mom without being confrontational. Ask her to listen to you, to let you finish before she speaks. When your mom tells you how she feels, echo what she said to her. For example, if she says, "It looks like it might rain" you respond with "I hear you say that you think it might rain, am I correct?" I know, it sounds corny but it does work! If you feel that communication has broken down, ask your mom if she would go to counseling with you. Even if she says no, it wouldn't hurt for you to go without her. Family problems are better resolved in the hands of professionals than with the opinions of anonymous individuals here on the internet.
