Watch "Signs" and you'll get an idea of the type of head gear you need wear. Good Luck!

Look I've read your other questions, and you're really confused. I'll help you out here, but only this ONCE!!

First of all, insulating your head only makes it so that the aliens can't control your thoughts. Duh! Everyone knows that! Use aluminum foil and a wet towel or buy an insulating helmet here:

Since you'll look like an utter idiot, It'll also keep you from getting laid, but that's the price you pay for avoiding alien mind control!

Second of all, drilling a hole in your head doesn't alleviate swelling, it lets the voices out of your head!! I don't know why you thought it would help with the swelling.

Good luck. Remember, I'm only helping you this ONCE!

I too hear voices and find it immensley stressful. I have gradually accepted that they can't harm me unless I do what they say and anti psychotic medication helps a little (injection of risperidone). However if you are being bothered right now try some of the following:
Listen to music through headphones(Ipod MP3 etc), turn on the radio or tv quite loud, excercise such as going for a run, switch on the washing machine or vacuum cleaner, sing. Say to yourself "they can not hurt me".
Don't worry about if they real or not. To you and I they are. Think of them as unshared perceptions, no one else can hear them but that doesn't make it any less stressful for you, to you it is a real experience.
If they continue to bother you, there is help out there.
Also why not contact "Hearing Voices" they have lots of good advice
Hope this helps a little

The strange thing is that the answer is NO. The more you insulate, the more you trap them in. It is best to have some other form of noise coming into your ears, to distract you from the voices.

If you hear voices, you should see a doctor that deals with that type of problem. You can also listen to an i-pod or walkman to drown out the voices.

If you do hear voices that aren't part of your environment (your friends talking, the radio, people on the street, etc.) go to the local mental health clinic. Now.

Cooking foil inside your shoes and inside your hat forms a barrier through which the mystery voices cannot penetrate. Well worth trying...............

That would probably make the voices worse because it would get rid of outside destractions.
