I'm not sure if to shave my head down
Or should I continue to let grow as its getting long?
I'm trying to grow long on top so can get short a sides

If that's really you in that picture then I think you should either leave it like that or go for the Mohawk but don't shave it all off.

The problem with shaved styles such as the Mohican is that you cannot tell, until it is too late, whether or not your head is shaped like a potato.

I think you should grow it. It would look nice long then shaved at the sides, it's a nice look.
