If we give in, then the U.S. flag should be flown upside down to signal for the need of being rescued by true Americans.

Illegal immigration is a slap in the face to those who are trying to follow the rules and made the sacrafices to do the right thing.

I think there should be more emphasis on pressuring countries supporting illegal immigration to address their people for a better life. We make it too easy for illegal immigrants at a cost that others have to pay.

If that happened we should impeach our Government. The people still have the power just ask Grey Davis. The citizens of the US need to take control of our system and not just sit by and watch the politicians ruin the country. People get out and vote, petition your reps and get involved.

The U.S. has had a long understanding that we will not give in to the demands of terrorists. Does it make a difference if it's one person holding up a house full of people or a million people holding up the government? We shouldn't allow ourselves to be bullied. You can come here legally or not at all.

Our government is going to do what is best for our government. Are we going to get guns and round these hombres up and stick em on a bus? Probably not. These are people, and they will need to be handled one case at a time. Going after the companies that hire them is a very good first step that has been taken.

US citizens and legal immigrants are already mad. And you can't please everyone all the time. The government is trying to find a solution that will make society stable, not completely alienate one side or the other.

Well if it were up to big business they would stay illegal and we would keep turning our back so they could continue to take advantage of them (low wages,no health care,no paid time off or holidays) just ask Tyson chicken or the meat packing industry if they want illegals to have rights to demand better treatment! they want it to stay like it is now and if changes they just wait for the next bunch of illegals to cross that will work for dirt cheap and the now legals will be competing in our job market.

Don't vote for them again. It is the only thing you can do. Or get your city involved in making their own illegal immigrant laws. Let the government try to overturn them.

If you disagree with the government's actions, then you have 3 choices: 1. vote in people that you agree with. 2. join a militia and over-throw it or 3. whine, moan and do nothing.
