I am 23 i was going to this club and i really liked one of the waitress. She is very pretty. I could see she was always looking at me and would always say hi. I wanted to ask her for her number so bad but did not know how to do it. In the meanwhile i am at a club so i would dance with other girls, i mean i was not all over them as they were all over me, from the corner of my eye i would always follow her all over the club, i myself caught her looking at me too with these eyes. UNTIL, I did the most stupid thing i took a girl friend read a girl friend no strings, who is not bad looking herself. I told her about my secret crush, and my so called friend instead of trying to help tried to kiss me in front of the waitress whom i liked. Anyhow that same night my so called friend told me she felt bad (the waitress) ever since she has changed. She really does not pay any more attention to me. I managed to get her number from a friend and when i called she said "i have nothing to talk about."

Apparently you had a run in with a pretty touchy girl. She obviously mistook your friend's "kiss" for you having a girlfriend and she's lost interest. She probably feels a bit betrayed, thinking that you were interested in her, and then seeing you act like a player. I would be pretty disappointed in my "friend" for doing something like that in front of a girl you liked.

Here's the other scenario though. Did it ever occur to you that your female friend might have a crush on you? She might have kissed you in front of your waitress because she wants you all to herself. Have you ever asked her how she feels about you? Women have a nasty tendency to harbor feelings for someone until it is too late or nearly too late because of that old-fashioned "men make the first move" thought.

Your waitress is giving you the cold shoulder. My suggestion would be to do something sweetly romantic. Perhaps bring her a white rose (signifying a truce) with a card tied to it that says "Will you give me a chance to explain? Let's call a truce...here's my white flag." Try and talk to her and explain what happened that night, and yes, it means confessing your feelings about her. Tell her how upset you were with your friend for doing that, and be sincere. Apologize profusely, and see where this gets you. If this doesn't work and she rebuffs you, well my friend, I'd find a new club and a new waitress to crush on. You most likely don't want a girl who won't listen to reason anyway.

That was a bad move! You should not have done that.If she really like you ,she is deeply hurt. You'll have to do something really really special to get in her good grace again. If you go there again- it better be by yourself and you had better spend the whole time devoted and looking at her.If you two have never been out you might have a chance if you can explain it to her.Tell her the truth of what happened and you had no control of your friend.Hopefully she will understand.Good Luck!

Don't ever talk to that "friend" of yours again. I would try to talk to the waitress, tell her your so-called friend was apparently jealous and didn't want you to talk to her. Tell her you really want to get to know her and take her out.

Looks like you lost your chance, and you should of never taken a female friend out anywhere in front of a woman you want to meet. Move on.

Oh, man. If I were you, I'd be a bit ticked at my girl-friend. This waitress probably thinks you are calling her to cheat.

Wow that wasn't a good idea. You might not be able to pull that one off. Tell her that you liked her and explained to her what had happened. What made you do a thing like that? You had the eye contact you should of made your move.

If she doesn't want to talk, she's not going to listen to any of this. I mean, she's already got her impression of how it looked, and it could be she wasn't overly interested in you in the first place. Find someone new and don't discuss it with this "friend".
